this world is ad jest not to long ago like 2 mi i found out that are new dress code won't let us where shorts how werd is that!! i'm tired of dress codes!!! we should where what we want to school
Amen! Dress codes should only be enlisted in private schools. this is PUBLIC SCHOOL ... Where the hoodlums go! We aren't gonna straiten our ties (or wear them ..) and sit up strait ... FAT CHANCE!!!
I think we need some sort of standard. No boobies or butts hanging out of clothing. Nothing obscene printed on the clothing. Whatever they institute must be reasonable, and "no shorts" in 90 degree weather is NOT reasonable.
For that matter, it would be reasonable to ask students to wear uniforms (say, navy shirt/brown pants or skirt) to maintain a neat appearance and identify students as belonging to a particular school at large assemblies. It wouldn't be my fave thing to have happen, but I DO understand where some schools seem to need to do this b/c of gangs and whathaveyou.

I don't blame you! I'd want to dress how I want within reason. It just makes me feel more individual and expresses who I am.
